OVERVIEW
Kevin has long been fascinated by the strength of the written word. An avid reader, Kevin took to creative writing early in his life, and though he went through school for radio, he did begin to dabble in writing as he carried on his on-air duties. Once he got started, writing of some sort became part of Kevin’s workday routine.
Below is a brief look at Kevin's writing history:

The Forest Standard: “Off the Air” with Kevin Bulmer (1999 – 2001)
In the fall of 1999, Kevin met Dale Hayter, publisher of several newspapers including the Forest Standard in Ontario. Kevin and Dale became instant friends, and as a result of that initial meeting, Kevin began writing a weekly “slice of life” column he called “Off the Air with Kevin Bulmer.” Kevin wrote the popular column for almost two years before a career change (from radio host to Sales and Marketing Director at Delaware Speedway) necessitated a change. |

Inside Track Motorsport News (2001 – 2005)
As Kevin became more and more involved in the auto racing industry, he was tapped to write a handful of columns for Inside Track Motorsport News, a National publication. The magazine also published many of the event recaps Kevin wrote over a number of years.
